My name is Jānis, I’m the founder of Kapteiņa Laiva and the Captain of this lovely boat. The name of the Captain’s boat is Dāvids, which is named after my son.

Captain’s Boat Dāvids is a water tour project that offers a luxury private boat tours in Riga and Jūrmala at affordable prices for residents and guests of Rīga.

I’m proud to share that Captain’s Boat is offering the widest range of different boat tours in Rīga. I have created more than 15 different standardize tours and there are no limits to Your imagination of creating Your own dream tour.

I made my first tour in May 2021 and this will be already 4th season of Captain's Boat.

It will be my pleasure to be Your Captain and to show and share the beauty of Rīga from City Canal and Daugava riverside with You.
